CORROSION INHIBITOR WATER TREATMENT

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CT CI902 is an inorganic compound in liquid form. It is an effective corrosion inhibitor and is used as an additive in industrial greases, as an aqueous solution in closed loop cooling systems, and in a molten state as a heat transfer medium.

APPLICATION

CT CI902 is nitrite-based chemical treatment used for the control of corrosion in closed cooling systems. This product is designed to protect both mild steel and copper-based alloys from corrosion.

Specific gravity    -1.33 – 1.35

pH    - 12.1 – 14.0

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

CT CI902 normal treatment rate for effective corrosion protection would be 0.1 to 0.5% based on fluid volume.

PACKING AND STORAGE

CT CI902 is packaged in 25 Kg Carboys or 250 Kg Drums. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles
