PRODUCT DESCRIPTION  

DEFOAM-SIL is a silicate based versatile liquid capable of effectively removing entrapped air from all types of water based mud under severe field conditions in a wide range of operations. It is utilized to reduce surface tension in water based drilling fluids as well as solids free work over and completion fluids. It is Effective at high temperature and at different PH of water based mud. It tolerates high concentration of salts.

  APPLICATION  

It is normally utilized to reduce and control the foaming in brines. It is a silicon based anti foam agent utilized in silicate mud system

 

  ADVANTAGES  

• It controls foaming in dispersed and non dispersed drilling fluid systems.

• It effectively defoams mud containing fresh water or sea water.

• It controls foaming in fluid viscosities with polymer.

• Helps stabilize pump pressure by removing trapped air and gas, and it is environmentally safe

  PACKING AND STORAGE  

DEFOAM-SIL is packed in 208 Ltr HDPE Drums. Store in dry, well‐ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles.

DEFOAM-SIL is equivalent to DEFOAM-EXTRA (M-I), BARA-DEFOAM (Baroid) and LD-10 (Baker)
