OBM Viscosifier CT-ORGANOCLAY

DESCRIPTION

CT-ORGANOCLAY is an Amine Treated Bentonite Clay designed to act as a rheological additive in oil based fluids and drilling muds. It functions as a Viscosifier and gelling agent in oil and synthetic based mud systems. It is used to act as an OBM/SBM viscosifier or a Gelling agent. It improves the suspension properties, carrying capacity and helps in cutting removal.

APPLICATION

It is used in drilling muds for controlling borehole stability.
It is utilized in drilling muds to extract drill cuttings from the bit and hole cleaning. It acts as a viscosifier and filtration control agent for oil based mud systems.
It is effective in drilling, coring, work over and completion fluids.
