CT-SURF-N Nonionic Mud Surfactant

Product Description:

CT SURF N is a mixture of non-ionic surfactants that provides excellent surface tension reduction and assists in treatment flow back, even in hard water conditions. Since it is non-ionic, CT SURF N leaves the formation water-wet, which improves the flow of hydrocarbons.

Applications:

Effective in fracturing and acidizing treatments to assist in fluid cleanup. 

Effective up to 149°C (300°F).

Advantages:

• Works at the interfaces to lower surface tension, so that water forced into the formation permeability under high treatment pressures will again flow out by lower formation gas pressure.

• Works at the gas-water interface to create foaming that lightens the column of water returning after the treatment.

Solubility in water - Soluble 

pH - 5.0 – 9.0

Packing and Storage:

CT SURF N is packaged in 5-gal (18.9-L) cans and 55-gal (208-L) drums. Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames
