CT-HEC-L Liquid HEC Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CT HEC L is a pure high-viscosity hydroxyethyl cellulosic polymer suspended in an environmentally safe base fluid. HEC Liquid contains minimum 40% by weight high-quality HEC polymer.

APPLICATION

CT HEC L is a thickening agent & can be used as oil well workover fluid and cementing agent. It helps to provide clarification of the low fixed content solution, thus greatly reducing the structural damage to the wells. The use of Hydroxyethyl Cellulose thickening fluid easily acids, enzymes or oxidants decomposition, greatly improving the ability to recover hydrocarbons. It is used to viscosify all monovalent salt brines such as NaCl, NaBr, KCl, KBr, and NH4Cl. It can also provide viscosity for spacers or pills, fluid loss control, hole cleaning while washing, milling or reaming, gravel pack fluids, and non-damaging drill-in fluids.

Hydroxyethyl Cellulose configuration using drilling fluid, based on its low solids content, can effectively increase drilling stability. These properties can be used to inhibit the fluid medium to high hardness of the rock and heavy shale or shale drilling.

ADVANTAGES

· Easy to handle and mixes well in low shear rate environments.

· Works well at any salinity & Increases carrying capacity of fluid.

· Highly effective viscosifier & also compatible with most of the mud additives.
