LUBEDRIL-EX LUBRICANT

DESCRIPTION

CT LUBEDRIL-EX is an environmentally friendly specially formulated Oil-based lubricant, designed to reduce torque &   drag and to lower the potential of bottom hole assembly balling in all water   base mud under extreme pressure conditions. Its extreme pressure lubrication   properties were designed for the extreme operating parameters of diamond   bits, results in improved bit life and improved penetration rates. It imparts extreme pressure   lubricating properties to the drilling fluids and prevents wall sticking


APPLICATION

CT LUBEDRIL-EX forms a soft film on the drill string   and borehole, and very effective in controlling rod vibration in diamond   drilling. It is very effective in sodium silicate-based drilling fluids   without disturbing any properties. It readily emulsifies drilling into the   mud systems thereby reducing torque and drag of the drill string and enhances   the cooling effect.

Solubility: Slightly Soluble in Water

Temperature Stability: Above 300 °F

Flash Point (PMCC): 99 °F


RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

CT LUBEDRIL-EX may be added directly to the sump or   injected into the circulating system. It should be used at a concentration of 1   to 2% by volume by optimum performance. It mixes very easily to form an emulsion in most water types.


PACKING

CT LUBEDRIL-EX is packed   in 55 gal HDPE or Steel Drums.


CT LUBEDRIL-EX is an equivalent to VERLEAD LUBRICANT
