VISCOSIFIER GELLING AGENT CT GEL-HT

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CT-GEL HT is a viscosifier and gelling agent used in combination with Primary emulsifier, Secondary emulsifier and used in oil-base mud systems. CT-GEL HT Organophilic Clay exhibits suspension properties in invert emulsion systems without significantly increasing the rheological properties. It can be used to increase carrying capacity and suspension properties, providing support for weight materials and improved cuttings removal.

APPLICATION

CT-GEL HT is effective to provide desired viscosity and gel strengths in oil-base and synthetic-base mud systems. It improves suspension properties of the fluids.

ADVANTAGES

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

CT-GEL HT is normally added in concentrations of 1.0– 5.0 lbs/bbl (2.9–14.3 kg/m3). The actual treatment required will depend upon the properties of the invert emulsion drilling fluid to be treated.

PACKING AND STORAGE

CT-GEL HT is packed in 25Kg multi wall paper bags. Store in a dry well-ventilated area
