CT-MUD-SH Shale Stabilizer / Clay Dispersion Inhibitor

CT-MUD SH is a co polymer designed to work as an environment friendly synthetic stabilizer, to provide cutting encapsulation and Shale Stabilization. It is a water-soluble low molecular weight polymer, which is primarily used as a highly efficient fluid loss reducer and protective colloid for shale and cutting in fresh water, seawater, CaCl2, NaCl brines and KCL mud systems. It is compatible with most of the drilling fluid products, biopolymers, PAC, CMC etc. It maintains hole stability by preventing shale swelling and erosion.

APPLICATIONS

• It provides cuttings encapsulation and limits clay dispersion

• It can be used as an alternative polymer drilling fluid

• It functions as an inhibitor by coating or encapsulating formation & cuttings.

• Very small dosage can provide clear solid free viscous borehole stabilization

• It also restricts the interaction of water hydratable & dispersible shale

• It also provides inhibition properties to fresh water, sea water and also inpresence of calcium ions

DOSAGET

ypical Concentration is 1.5-3 lb/bbl (4.28-8.56 kg/m3), a slightly higher concentration ranging 4-5 lb/bbl (11.4-14.3 kg/m3) may be required in Salt water mud.
