Liquid Polymeric Dispersant / Thinner

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CT THIN-L is a high activity liquid polymeric dispersant thinner designed to effectively deflocculates bentonite muds. It is uses as a thinner, rheology modifier & a fluid loss control additive for fresh water and salt water muds. It is water soluble, easily dispersed liquid and requires only small concentrations to provide effective thinning results.
It can be added to thin and stabilize water-based muds prior to the addition of other filtration reducing agents

APPLICATION
CT THIN-L is an effective thinner/ deflocculant for normal and high temperature applications in water base drilling fluids upto 300F. It is a cost-effective polymeric drilling fluid thinner / deflocculant. CT THIN-L is applicable in water-based drilling fluids with both low salinity and high salinity.

Density- 1.20 - 1.25 g/cm3
pH (1% Solution)- 4.5 – 7.0

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
Normal treatment range is 0.125 to 0.50 lb/bbl (0.3 to 1.3 l/m3). CT THIN-L can be added directly to the surface of a well agitated mixing pit, but is most efficiently applied by adding through the mud hopper.

PACKING AND STORAGE
CT THIN-L is packaged in 25 Kg Cans or 250 Kg Drums.
