PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

DRILGLYC-MC is a water-soluble medium cloud point poly glycol based special composition, designed for high salinity poly glycol systems. It is used to stabilize hydratable and dispersible shale and enhance the lubricating and fluid loss properties of water base drilling fluids.

APPLICATION

DRILGLYC-MC stabilizes shale by adsorbing onto clay surfaces and preventing the water from entering the clay matrix. DRILGLYC-MC improves the performance of PHPA based mud drilling fluids.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

DRILGLYC-MC may be used in conjunction with most other common water-based drilling fluid products. An addition level of 3–5% is recommended.

PACKING AND STORAGE

DRILGLYC-MC is packaged in 55-gal (208-L) drums. Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles.
