PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Furfural is an organic compound, a biomass-based aldehyde, a colorless to light brown liquid which has many uses including extraction process in refineries to making furfuryl alcohol and other furfural derivatives.

Used as an extraction agent in petroleum refining industry
It is used in the manufacturing of 2 furaldehyde derivatives
It is as a purification agent for hydrocarbons in rubber manufacturing process
An excellent wetting agent and a reactive solvent in steel industry.
It is an important renewable, non-petroleum based, chemical feedstock
Used in the manufacturing of polymers
It is used as an intermediate in pesticide production
