FILTRATION CONTROL AGENT CT FLC-HT

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CT-FLC HT is a high temperature filtration control agent, a modified naturally occurring asphalt used as the primary filtration control additive in all oil-based drilling fluid systems. CT-FLC HT when used with primary and secondary emulsifiers in oil-based fluid systems, will enhance the emulsion and thermal stability of the system. It is highly effective in deep hot wellbore applications.

APPLICATION

It reduces both API and HTHP fluid loss in all oil-base muds. It helps improve the overall emulsion stability, thermal stability and suspension characteristics of most oil-base formulations. This also increases viscosity, in lower temperatures due to its partial solubility.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

Normal treatment range is 2 – 20 Ib/bbl (5.7 to 57.1 Kg/m3).

PACKING AND STORAGE

CT-FLC HT is packed in 22.7 or 25 Kg multi wall paper bags. Store in a dry well-ventilated area
