PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CT-EMULTEC is designed for mineral oil and paraffin-based drilling fluid systems. It helps stabilize emulsions, aid   suspension properties, and reduce HPHT filtration. It  is a liquid blend of selected drilling emulsifier, wetting agents, gelling   agents and fluid stabilizers in a mineral oil base. It Provides excellent emulsion   stability

APPLICATIONS

CT-EMULTEC forms the basic brine‐in‐oil emulsion required for the oil mud   systems.  It provides   excellent emulsion, stability, secondary wetting, viscosity and filtration   control and temperature stability

ADVANTAGES

EN-EMULTECH improves emulsion stability and   functions as a secondary wetting agent and provides viscosity.

It provides filtration control and helps   to maintain HTHP filtrate in a water-free state.

It Improves the thermal stability and   contaminations – resistance of an oil mud.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

Initial system formulations require 4   to 10 lb/bbl (11.4 to 28.5 kg/m3), depending on the properties desired and   other components in the system. Daily treatments of Primary emulsifier enhance the emulsion characteristics of the system.

PACKING AND STORAGE

CT-EMULTEC is packaged in 55‐gal (208‐L) drums.

Store in dry, well‐ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles. Follow safe warehousing practices regarding palletizing, banding, shrink‐wrapping and/or stacking
