DESCRIPTION

CT CAB Calcium Bromide (CaBr2) is used during workover and completion operations that require densities from 8.4 to 15.3 lb/gal (1,007 to 1,833 kg/m3).

APPLICATION

CT CAB provides inhibition, preventing hydration and migration of swelling clays, and can be used for packer fluids or to adjust the density of other brine system.

ADVANTAGES

Calcium Bromide brines can be formulated with various crystallization points and are available for special applications and winter use.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Physical appearance - White free flowing crystalline Powder.

Purity - 95% (Minimum)

Density  - 3.30 Kg/l Minimum.

pH    - 6.0 - 8.0 (5% Solution)

PACKING AND STORAGE

CT CAB is packed in 50kg HDPE bags with inner liner or 1 MT Jumbo Bags. Store in dry, well‐ventilated area. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.
