CEMENT RETARDER

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CT CEMRT cement retarder is for deep oilfield wells with low to high temperatures. It is compatible with all API cement and can be used in fresh water and salt water or sea water slurries.

APPLICATION

CT CEMRT extends the thickening time for the slurries to provide adequate time before placement. It has good dispersing and fluid loss properties. It is compatible with fresh or saltwater slurries, most cement additives, all API cements, bentonite cement, class A cement.

ADVANTAGES

It provides extended pumping time and early cement strength development.

It improves slurry displacement rates at steady pressures and provides more predictable thickening time.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Physical appearance - Blackish Brown free flowing powder.

Solubility in water - Soluble.

Bulk Density   - 550 – 750 kg/m3.

PACKING AND STORAGE

CT CEMRT is packed in 25Kg bags. Store in a dry well-ventilated area. Store in dry, well‐ventilated area. Keep container closed. Store away from incompatibles
