PRODUCT DESCRIPTION  

CT BAR is a high quality drilling grade Barite (Barium Sulphate) used to increase the density of drilling fluids. It is the most widely used drilling weight material due to its high specific gravity. It meets API 13A Specification

  APPLICATION  

It is used to increase the density of any mud system while maintaining rheological properties

​

  ADVANTAGES  

• It does not react with other drilling Fluids or hamper their functioning

• It is chemically inert and insoluble

Appearance: Free Flowing Powder

Specific Gravity: 4.2 g /cm3 Min

Water soluble earth alkaline metals as calcium: 250 mg/kg Max

Residue Greater than 75 Microns: 3% wt max

Particles less than 6 micrometers, in equivalent spherical diameter: 30% wt max

  PACKING AND STORAGE  

Material is packed in 1.5 MT Jumbo Bags.. Store in a dry location away from sources of heat or ignition, and minimize dust
